Costs for electrical power are charged in the following two items:<\/p>\n

Grid usage and grid provision<\/strong><\/p>\n

Both items are specified by E-Control for each grid operator and each grid level and adjusted annually(E-Control system utilization tariffs<\/a>). This means that these are non-negotiable and are as follows for the Kelag grid area in 2023:<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

NETWORK PROVISION CHARGE<\/h5>\n

The grid provision fee is to be paid as a lump sum for the expansion of the individual grid levels already carried out and pre-financed by the grid operator to enable the connection, which are actually used for grid usage to the agreed extent.<\/p>\n

If you exceed this purchased network provision capacity, the network operator will contact you and ask you to purchase the difference. In Austria, the average of the three highest monthly peaks is used as the basis for calculating the grid supply capacity.<\/p>\n

GRID USAGE FEE<\/h5>\n

The grid usage fee compensates the grid operator for the costs of constructing, expanding, maintaining and operating the grid system. The grid usage fee for the “LP” service is specified in euros per year.<\/p>\n
